  Unstamped employment visa and it's validity

  Three months back I came to visit dubai on 3 months visit visa. In between this Visiting time, I got a job offer and I signed an offer letter too, and I gave them all my documents copies, but just after few weeks for some reasons I had to go back to Pakistan so I informed the employer through an email and by telephonic conversation he agreed that I can go, if I help them in replacing myself, so I did help them and they hired another candidate.
  
  At that time I was on visit visa. Then I came back to Pakistan. And after 3 months, now I again applied for Visit Visa but some objection came from Immigration Dept. then I contacted to that company (I just expained above) so this company said that they already processed my Employment Visa and now they will not cancel it. Which makes me worried.

  I contacted with one of my friend who is working as a PRO in Dubai. he checked online and said the company took only Visa Approval which must have expired by 16th July 2009. Even he told me my new Labour Approval No....Here I am puzzeled that what's going on.

  1). Now is it possible that anyone can process Employment Visa just on the basis of Photocopies of documents? even I had my original passport with me?
  
  2). If the Employment Visa is not stamped on passport then can I get another visit visa?? how many days it will b VALID ? ?is there anyother way that I will get VIsit Visa for Dubai??
