My name is Ben Torres and I am from Miami Florida Usa. My goal in life is to make as many friends that I can from all around the world, and to help promote world peace one person at a time. I believe that we can all make a difference in life if we follow our dreams. The world is not that big, and we have to learn how to get along with one another, and to try to understand each others cultures and ways of life. There is too much hate in the world right now, and that's why it's important for us to start loving one another. I would ask that you add me as a friend, and lets start communicating with each other right here on this forum. Tell me your name and where your from and if there is anything important you want the world to know about your people or country. I look forward to reading all your entries. Best of luck to you all. Well, I'm Vinicius from Brazil!
I'm an engineering student at "University of São Paulo".
I'm 18 years old, and one of my dreams is to travel the world and to know many places and cultures...to accomplish that, surely is nice to know people from all around the world...I think that exchanging experiences, just make people more rich...

Oh thanks man! Yes, the brazilians are normally very kind and receptive... usually we are very happy people..
I see..indeed, Brazil is a wonderful country to visit.Althought we do have some bad things here, we do have many, many beatiful things to see too...normally get to the people outside Brazil, things mainly from Rio De Janeiro..but there are so many beaches, Floresta Amazônica, São Paulo, the country...the people are so great too...anyway..lol you should visit here somedayVinicius

I am amazed that we have not gotten more people to join us on this worthy cause. I implore all of you to contact your friends and ask them to join us here so we can all help in promoting world peace. There is an old saying in chinese, if everyone in the world would like to give out a little bit love from their bottom of heart, the earth would probably be a nice Heaven. It is, i do believe it. So, let's work together to achieve this goal. Even if we could do nothing, we could pray for our beloved earth, friends, etc. God Bless Every one here.

I live in Beijing which is part of China's 'New world'. Generally everywhere is peaceful & enjoyable. But of course there are too many cars & still too many smokers who think its OK for the majority to breath in that smoke.
Many people don't know about China & the people - they are generally very peaceful and friendly although many still do not understand Westerner, or because of their culture, too embarassed to find out.
I am presently helping with a new school/business institute in Beijing.
This is an opportunity for everyone to visit Beijing, tour and learn learn about the 'real' Chinese & Chinese language!

Welcome to the board. First I will tell you that all of the Chinese people that I have ever met have been extremely nice and friendly. I would love to visit Bejing one day, and will take you up on your offer one day. There are many Chinese people living here in the Usa, and I love eating Chinese foods. Great having you here with us Nigel sharing your culture, and feel free to add me and all the people on this forum as your friends.

I am a retired banker from Pakistan and have always worked on humanity and peace subjects on different forums.Your feeling and expression reflects that you are really interested to serve humanity and I wish your success .
I am from Peshawar, Pakistan on the boarder of Afghanistan where every day there are explosions and attacks on army,police personnels by the militants and we see devastations and destructions, killings of dozens of innocent people only for the reason that our Govt. has extended hands of friendship to United States.
Every body is afraid of going out to bazars and there is fear and mistrust amongst the people.
I have sent letters to US Secretary of states to help us in eduacting the people to achieve peace and comfort.

I hope and pray that there is peace in your country. This is exactly what I am talking about why it is so important for us to start communicating. No one wants to see death and destruction as a result from war. It is time for people to understand that war is not the solution, and it will never get us anywhere. We need to start communicating with each other and understanding one another, and we can do this one person at a time. I am very glad that you joined us here Ghulam, and lets bring more awareness to your situation.
