29 Mar 2009, 17:53Tax rulesHi, I'm a Dutch citizen, and Permanent Resident of the US (Green Card). I'm most likely moving to Doha soon, because I got an incredible job offer which will move my career fast forward! I'm very confused about the tax rules: Qatar salary is tax free, but I still have to pay US taxes over foreign income earned. Anyone has some specific information on how it works? I hear some different information: up to $87,000 you don't have to pay tax, you just file 1040, but making sure you enter as resident status... Any tips are appreciated! Thanks!
