  Moving to Australia

  Hi all, I know there are many sites out there which talk about migrating to Australia.

  But, I want people's real life experiance. What are the gotchas that I should consider when I first go there. What tips & tricks can you offer me and my family ?

  Should I rent or buy; where should I stay; should I hire a lawyer straight away; how do you deal with tax filing (espcially I come from a country that doesn't do taxes); etc.
