Weather in Austria

Hi JM,
The weather is normally extremely beautiful here in the mountain and lake district. long hot sunny days and often some rain and dramatic thunderstorms late at night. Temps can reach mid thirties and the lakes are warm enough to swim in. We are in the salzkammergut region which is the heart of Austria.
In September, it is still very sunny and a bit misty in the mornings. It is still warm at the start of September, cooling down at then end of the month. well actually I am planning on going 1month in Austria this summer and I'd like to make a tour of the country's most beautiful places :) The thing is that I don't know anything about it...
I know there are some guides but I am more looking for personal experiences, i would like to avoid very touristic places ;)

This was one of my other posts on the forum but no one answered to me :) While you seem like a mountain/nature lover maybe you could give me some good advices?

This is gonna be my fist summer in Austria, the weather is pretty nice today. I hope we'll have a beautiful summer. I can't wait to spend some time in the mountains in July !
