Hi Mr. Reddy,
I would like to ask if it is possible for my husband, a cook, to transfer while he is still on probationary period with a valid working visa without his employer's consent. Reasons are:
his manager refuses to give a written offer letter or contract which I also doubt because they were able to process his visa even without him signing any offer letter/contract.
Secondly, he is forced to hand over his passport to the manager after they gave to him for finger printing and threatening him that if he won't give it back, salary won't be given.
Thirdly, he is asked to work 11am til 2am/3am (15-16hrs a day) without off for this month of april since the other cook is on vacation.

For now, my husband's manager is not mentioning anything about his passport but he is still working 15-16hrs/day without off for 2 weeks now. He was promised to be given a 5 days off once the other cook comes back from vacation. Deapite that, we are quite doubtful that the manager might have other plans since he was already threatened previously like telling him that he (manager) will make it hard for him (which we don't know what he meant). I have been through quite a situation before that's why i am cautious of things that he might do to make problems for my husband.
