average living cost in Bahrain

Welcome to Bahrain and to the forum! Average living cost would be between BD 550 - BD 700 monthly for a family of three/four. And this includes, but not limited to, housing/rent, food, transportation, school expense and a few incidental expenses. But please bear in mind that there are people living here who earn BD 300 a month and still maintain a family. The minimum salary to apply for a family visa is BD 250, which is funny because considering that amount, your standard of living here would be mediocre. Hope this helps. Good Luck!
