Could anyone living in Brussels please tell me if there will be a market for vintage clothing? I deal in vintage clothing and accessories and want to know about the market and will there be an interest in buying vintage clothes at affordable prices. Please people out there any advice from is appreciated.

Hey Fatima,
I know there is a brand of outlet stores in Brussels called DOD, I've been shopping there a few times and they seem to do very well. They have about 5 big stores if I'm not mistaken. However, I'm not too sure about vintage clothing.
I'm originally from Antwerp and I know there is a big market for vintage clothing there. There used to be quite a popular vintage store in Kammenstraat near the Groenplaats. I'm not sure if it's still there as I'm not currently in Belgium. Also, in the areas surrounding Antwerp city, there are various independent vintage stores.
I hope this will help you.

You are of great help.. Thanks. I am looking at different options to help me move to Belgium, as my partner is Belgian from Antwerp. This long distance relationship is very demanding, so I am looking for jobs etc. Again thank you so much for commenting on both my posts. It really helps to understand things.
Best wishes

You're welcome. Any way I can help, just let me know. I have some idea of your situation as ours was quite similar.
Good luck with everything!
Btw, if you happen to move to Antwerp and you want to learn the language quickly, visit Atlashuis on Carnotstraat in central Antwerp. This is the main office where they register newcomers to Belgium for Flemish/Dutch classes in various places in town, depending on your situation and educational background. They can help you schedule classes around your other activities and you may choose to register for the integration course. As part of this they will help you get accustomed to the employment situation in Belgium and they may be able to help you find something.
Let me know if you need more information. Glad to help.
