Visit Visa question--HELP!

HELP! I have a visit visa (my fiance sponsored me). My question is, can I travel to other Schengen countries without him? He has to work so I'll travel by myself. Don't know if this is possible. Would appreciate your responses please.

Once you have a visa for Belgium, you can go to other Schengen countries too, on your own or with your friend :-)
