No Satire Please?

I was shocked to read that Brazil banned political satire. I actually think one of the best ways was to treat the subject with humor, because if you didn't laugh, you'd probably cry over the corrupted politicians etc. In my eyes it looks like a cheap form of censorship. What do you think about this ban - in favour or against? Why?

I think satire is a healthy way to make people grow up as an human. We learn mostly from our fouts, satire tell your falts in a bit lighter way.

Politician Satire

i agree with you, humor can be in many ways a great way to deal with such thing...especially if the politicians are corrupt, but i've seen many humor along facebook, twitter, and many other social networks, and have seen them too on television, such as CQC, they treat US with humors challenging our government, also "Casseta & Planeta Vai Fundo" JUST re-launched and their priority is aiming the government to become a well-organized government...
so, as you see, political satire is still at large here in Brasil, in other words, i'm against the banning.
