we have no set places yet still getting information on places to visit but definately want to see rome and florence wouldn't mind staying in the tuscany area

Pass by Greece also dear JoJo, there are many beautiful places to visit here also :)

As time goes by we are slowly defining our trip to Europe and we have decided we will not visit Spain but visit Greece instead. Where do you recommend staying and places we should visit? Are there any good tours that we should look into while visiting Greece that you would recommend?

Nice to hear that JoJo! It depends though on the time of the year that you want to come! would it be summer or winter? I can reccomend you many places worth going. If it is summer, the islands that Greece has are worth traveling! However that depends on you; where you want to go, what do you want to see etc. Don't hasitate to send me, we can be in touch! It really depends on what you want to do while in Greece. There are the party islands - Mykonos, Paros, but since you said you are going on a family trip I don't think that's what you are looking for :)

I agree about Santorini, because it is a beautiful place, but since it has grown very popular the past few years it is possible that the prices are higher and it is a bit too crowded.

I can recommend you Rhodes, because I have recently been researching "less popular" Greek islands... If you are interested in historical heritage, I think you might enjoy it :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhodes
