international student looking for an apartment in vancouver

hi to everyone!
I am an international student who is going to start university in vancouver by next september. I am looking for a rent apartment either to live by myself or to share with someone (better if student). I would like to find a place in Commercial Drive Area.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Also I will go to Vancouver this september.
For apartment I'm looking by easyroommate.com, for sure I will go in B&B for the first weeks for find apartment and work.
