Insurance for newcomer

Good morning,
I'm coming to Toronto on January 2009 for 1 year of work.
I know I've to find a health insurance to manage all my eventual small and big health problems.
Do you have a good insurance to suggest?
I need a one that covers day by day life (general doctor and so on).
