motorcycle laws for expats?

Hi, I'm from the US, moving to Shenzhen in Feb.
Can anyone tell me what I need to do to legally drive a motorcycle in Shenzhen? I prefer it instead of a scooter because I want to ride to other towns, go exploring.

Hi Ben,
In Shenzhen, we have inside customs area and outside customs area. I think only outside of the customs you can drive motorcycle. Shenzhen is very wide. You can explore. :-)
