Dominical and Jaco area

I am actually writing for a friend who wants to retire to Costa Rica. We visited the Nicoya Peninsula last year, but she is still looking for the right ex-patriate community for her, and wants to be near the beach, yet not isolated from services. She lives now in Santa Cruz, CA, USA. She wants a contact/resource in Domincal and/or Jaco to further discuss and possibly meet for guidance. Can you help?
