Is it possible to travel between Southern and Northern Cyprus?

hallo tania, yes it is possible to travel without any problem between the two sides of cyprus, u only need ur passport, there are two 2 ways, either from ledra street wich is located in the center of the town or by the entrance wich is near to engomi, i just forgot the name of that entrance! anyway in both cases u need to be carefull and dont stay late at night cause its not really what we call safe, i hope i help u enough, for any info contact..........happy holidays......

thanks for your message! I would like to ask you one other thing - how "sensitive" is the issue between Southern and Northern Cyprus for the locals? Do they like to share their point of view? Or is it rather "forbidden" topic? Just to know in case I am talking about it with some local :-)

well that depends on who u gonna ask! i mean cyprus (the greek side) is alsow divided in 2 categories, those who believe that greeks (us!) sold cyprus to the turks, that they are just cypriots and they have nothing to do with greeks , the rest of the cypriots like greeks and they believe that they are greeks as well,i think they are more talkative and friendly, i mean my first day in cyprus start with a fight with me and a local who didnt liked me cause i m greek!. nobody of them likes to talk about it cause most of them felt the pain of that war, so i suggest u to make sure who u ask about this kind of stuff. i dont know what the turkish side supports but i think u can guess it!. dont be afraid to ask a local about cyprus and how it happend, hes not gonna kill for sure ,just make sure hes .........ok! i hope i didnt change ur plans after reading all these.!
