It will be a pleasure to help you with the portuguese language! For know I'm trying to search a job there, but by internet is quite difficult. Can you suggest anything?

Yeah u r right, using internet is sometimes hard as here to get a job you need to know someone , but it depends also what kind of job are you looking for.So i'l be awaiting for your reply and i will b able to give you suggestions.

Well for now, for the next few months, I don't expect to have a great job...but something more appropriated to someone who doesn't have a great domain of the french language. I have a degree in language and business comunication. I speak spanish, English and a bit of french.

I'll trying to find something in restaurants, cleaning, etc and maybe, by a miracle, I can find something in my area...but it's hard cause a need a fuul domain of the french language. I hope that till May i'll be able to speak a better french!

wow! interesting stuff you did.well there is a website called http://www.crij.org.this gives you a full insight of the job tendency here in toulouse like which sector is mostly needed, nevertheless in restaurant specially touristic ones, you may be of great need.And as i say the important matter is to be here personnally and prove to an employer what you are capable of.

Sandra, I'm portuguese too and i'm in france for a vacations. i came to know about the opportunities and it's not easy. I'm trying to find a job in Toulouse too and I'm exactly like you, not very good at french. i've beem looking the same places as you did: restaurants, hotels...

Efectivamente nao é facil por causa da crise. Vou tentar nos supermercados. Acho que vale a pena o esforço, apesar de tudo estou a gostar muito de estar aqui! Como tenho amigos franceses o meu francês esta a melhorar e creo que este esforço ha-de compensar....

eu nao consegui num curto prazo. neste momento tambem nao estou a tentar, nao estou em toulouse sequer. acho que é insanidade neste momento qualquer tentativa de começar seja o que for la! lol
