    I don't know enough Spanish, but I know Latinos do speak their versions of Spanish. I know your Spanish is the original, but could it be that the Latinos are speaking Spanish with their dialect rather than speaking poorly?

    I don't know you, or the Latinos in America you are talking about, so I don't want to be judgmental, but in the past, I met a lot of spaniards who had serious problems with Latinos. Fortunately I had a roommate from Spain, who wasn't racist at all, explained to me why those spaniards were totally ignoring and avoiding the Latinos, which seemed very odd to me because they speak the same language. Those spaniards also avoided other non white folks.

    Could it be that the divisions in Spain you were talking about created that kind of insecurity in some spaniards?
