    Well, too late for that. We had a revolution, the most successful one ever in German history, the second worst dictatorship in our history brought down without ever a shot fired- boo-jah, baby!
    But the thing with liberty is: once you´ve got it, someone has to pay all the bills, rebuild the infrastructure, and before long you wonder what all the fuss was about. Same thing in all of Eastern Europe, once the commies were gone, it turned out that you have to look out for number one in a market economy- and that some people are just plain old cutthroats that´ll fleece you given half a chance.

    BTW:
    My guess would be that we need the practise for our driver´s licence to be able to steer our 7er BMW or Merc SLK at a leisurely 220 km/h on the fastlane while listening to "Ride of the Valkyries" at ear-splitting volume, singing along because we know all the lines by heart. Just like me.

    Just not with a BMW. Or a Merc. Well, at least it´s a Volkswagen.
