    Or maybe they just want that people driving know what they are doing. It sounds like in Spain.

    I got my license in Spain and then here. Sure I like that it is cheaper here, but I got the impression that you don't need to know much to get your license in the US. My practice test was going around the black, didn't even have to park. And the written test, not that hard either.

    And I don't see how that is keeping people from driving, what I know is that when I go to Germany, everybody is passing me on the highway, and there are a lot of BMWs and Audis.

    Not that I remember all I had to learn in SPain, but at least when you get it you know all there is to know, or a lot. Here in the US, you don't even need to know all the signs and you are driving.
