  Rental cost in Frankfurt, Mainz and Wiesbaden

  Hi everybody! I got an internship offer for Frankfurt, but people told me housing is really expensive over there. Does it make sense to look for housing in Mainz or Wiesbaden instead, and how much would I save? Thanks!

  Hi Janosch, rental cost in Wiesbaden are significantly lower than in Frankfurt (maybe some 25%), but in Wiesbaden they're not.

  If you consider the time and money you spend travelling between the 2 places though it won't be cheaper at all...

  Hi Janosch, if you look for cheaper accomodation in Frankfurt you can also go to Hanau (not very nice but rents are a lot lower).
