has any one used Remitlite for transferring money from US to India.

NO. I am using http://www.transefrwise.com , very much satisfied.
Initially I looked around their website as much as I could and later I made a test transfer for just a small amount I could afford to lose. I initiated the transfer on a night and to my surprise the money had reached India the day after (~ between 24-48 Hours). The exchange rate was more than what I expected, very close to the market rate.
I have used TransferWise well over 20 times now the money has always reached its destination at amazing speed and rate.
