  Internet and cell phone freedom

  Hello there,

  Please can someone advise if there is a complete internet and cell phone freedom in Kuwait or not?
  I used to live and work in Dubai and local ISP was blocking certain web pages "for content that did not comply with moral and ethical values of UAE". For other reasons the same provider - Etisalat - was blocking VoIP telephony (Skype)
  I have a job offer from Kuwait and would like to know if Kuwait is the same case as Dubai or not.

  some other website are blocking specially those category are content of immorality and pornography...

  And what about VoIP - like Skype, ICQ, Windows Live Messenger, etc. Are they allowed to function in their full scope?

  Sometimes it happens that they block even pages that are completely OK but for variour algoritm reasons are blocked. Is there any way to go around like use proxy?

  Hi Vasek

  Skype, ICQ, Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo Messenger work fine in Kuwit
  so dont worry   i use them all to contact my friends outside Kuwait..

  and sure you can use proxy
