Hi friends,
I have been offered a job in Kuwait of a Network Engineer. My total experience is 2 years with a Teleco.
The offer is like
basic salary: 450 KD per month
Monthly Allowance: 50 KD per month
Monthly Bonus: 50 KD per month (only effective when i complete a certification)
Is this sufficient for a couple? They havent talked about the accommodation, tranportation, and medical as yet.
Any help would be appreciated :)

Hi,
Keeping in mind your two years experience, the offer is good and salary is sufficient for a living couple here in kuwait. Even if the company does not provide accomodation, you can rent a flat normally for around 150 KD. Transportation system is good in Kuwait. Buses and taxis, both are available. By the time, you get the driving license and a car, you'll have to travel either by bus or by taxi. I don't knwo where is your company and where you'll stay. So I can't tell you how much you'll spend for your transportation. But the salary you mentioned is good.congrats. Its good

Hello buddy,
Congrats on the job offer. It is goot salary to start with in kuwait if you single. If you get accomodation free from them, then it is a good salary for a couple. Medical will be provided by them and you should negotiate for the accomodation. By the way, which company are u joining. what is this 50 KD on completion of certification ? I am a network engineer too.
