Moving back to Ireland with pets..question re lapsed vaccinations

Wondering if anyone can help. After 2 years in Luxembourg I am looking to move back to Ireland at Easter. My problem is that I totally forgot about keeping my 2 cats passports up to date with their vaccinations :o(
Can anyone tell me in plain English what needs to be done so I can bring them back as I see from Jan 2012 the rules change a bit. They are both microchipped and have their passports, its just what vaccinations they need and if I need to wait a certain length of time afterwards before I can take them back.
