i'm looking for people who emigrated to Mexico with their children, or foreigners who live and work in Mexico with small children.
so if you have experiences, stories, tips about education, babysitters, how did your children react on the differences in culture and climate, i would love to hear from you!
i'm orientating on jobs in mexico (oaxaca/chiapas) and the pro's and con's of living and working in Mexico with my 4 year old daughter.
i've always worked and travelled abroad, also in centro america, but went back to live and work in Holland when my daughter was born.but now things are getting a little "itchy"again....but i don't want to drag my little girl with me unprepared so i'm exploring posseblities now.
you would really help me with tips and experiences!
hope to hear from you,
love Roos -
Hello,
I'm a Canadian living in southern Mexico for almost five years. I had to adapt to many things that I was taking for granted. I have two young kids. Maybe I can help?

15 Aug 2009, 22:59Hi, I'm needing some help. Me and my husband have been discussing the possibility of moving to albuquerque, New Mexico. We have 3 children. We have seen some beautiful houses and have looked into the local schools etc but are now needing some help in what would be our next step in getting things moving. I am presuming the best order to do things in are to sort visa's out first then start house hunting, but when is the best time to start looking for jobs?
Any tips and help will be much appreciated.Joanne
