  on the way to Mexico

  Hi,

  I know this is sad or seems silly questions but 2 of my favorite things are beer and internet.
  I wanted to know if I can buy European beer and do people understand or even use the word beer ?? Are there ads with the word beer or its all in Spanish cerveza??

  Do people know what "download" means ? or do they only use the word descargar??

  Do people that use the internet their speak /understand English?

  Hi mot ked, well here in Mexico we do not use English very much, so for sure we use cerveza, but in familiar circles we say "chela". People drink a lot, and certainly alcoholism is a public health issue... as in many countries... Hope you like it but not abuse it... Well in relation to "descargar", we rather say "bajar"... Do not worry, you will, or may be you've already did, the familiar way of talking.

  i am mexican and i am pretty sure there are places where you can buy european beer but in the grocery stores you can find only mexican beer. Also, people can understand if you ask for beer in english and you will not have any problem if you use english in tplaces qhere there are tourists, they will understand you easily.
  you can use the word descargar or bajar, they will understand you.
  by the way which place you chose to live?
