Dutch language necessary for physiotherapist in the Netherlands?
Posted in Netherlands forum 16 Jan 2012, 12:31
I was wondering if it is necessary to speak Dutch if you want to work as a physiotherapist in Holland.
I saw at the big-registration that they say you have to be able to speak the Dutch language.
Is it possible to work as a physiotherapist without the big-registration or get the registration without knowing the Dutch language?
Thanks so much for answering!
Greetings,
S.

Physiotherapy is paid for through health insurance, so you would have to be registered before you would be able to get clients.
its probably possible to get the registration without a huge amount of the lnguage, it may be worth contacting people working as physiotherapists in the netherlands to find out the best way to do that.
good luck
