Can someone tell me how much money does one person need to live in New Zealand for 1 month?

    Depends where you go and if you will travel.
    You can buy a cheap car between $500 and $1000 that you can sell afterwards or hitchhike around the country. Or rent a campervan, but you have to pay to park your campervan on a site and sleep the night.

    Touristy stuff is expensive cos our country's economy relies on tourism.

    Accomodation - Backpackers $20/night, motel/hotel etc $80 - $200/night. Board $150/week.

    Food is expensive and petrol is expensive.
    Where are you going to be in NZ?
