17 Jun 2009, 16:33Emergency Room Nurse going to work at KAMC in Jeddah wanting to bring husband with me!Please anyone help with information regarding bringing my spouse with me when coming to work in Jeddah. They are offering me a single contract but I am hoping to bring my husband with me when I come and then he can find work while he is there. I am a Canadian citizen and he is a Turkish citizen. We will be married in Turkey just before moving to Saudi. I am worried that the paper work will be a nightmare or that he won't be able to come and live with me. Please help. Thank you in advance for your reply.

Hi Tammie,
It will be ok all what you need to do is that you have to inform KAMC that you need to bring your husband but you need to give them time from 1 to 3 month to finish the paper work they need to see you at work first then you can apply for him visit vise they can give him from 1 to 3 month valid visa during this time he can search for a job.
if you need any more information i will be happy to reply you.
take care -

Hi Hany,
Thank you for your reply. I was just wondering if my husband can come as a tourist first for a few weeks and then go back home to Turkey and then come back again after the 3 month time period. If he can come with me to Saudi for the first 2 or 3 weeks he can help me set up our home and to learn the area? I am not sure if they issue tourist visa's like this? -
Well Tammie, i totally understand that you would like your husband to be with you at the first weeks well he can apply for visiting visa the well give him one month stay or if he is a Muslim then he can apply for Umrah visa saudi arabi ثmbassy back in your country would give you more information and updated one.
