    Requirements to issue Resident Permit (Iqama) to family member for the first time:

    Fill the relevant form (information as it is written in the passport); and get the form signed by the family guardian.
    Submit the wife's passports and minor children to be added, with an entry visa issued by the Saudi embassy enabling children to stay with their guardian or formal document to add them.
    Submit two (2) group-photos, recent, size (6×4).
    Submit the original residence permit of the family guardian, to where children would be added.
    If the religion of the wife to be added is different from the religion of the husband, she should get a separate residence permit and pay the prescribed fees, (S.R. 500).
    If the wife is to be added has been married in the Kingdom, her sponsorship must first be transferred to the husband after submitting a copy of the marriage contract and pay the prescribed fees; then she could be added to her husband's residence permit.
    If minor children to be added were born in Saudi Arabia, the original birth certificates and copies of them should be submitted.
