    first congrats for getting the visa. they can come by road as well. last time my mother came to bahrain then i brought her to dammam by road through causeway. infact when they submit their application at saudi consulate in dubai they should select mode of travel on the form. the mode of travel will be printed on visa. however it doesnt make any difference, as mode of travel on my mother visa was air but she entered through road.
