Even I lived in Nederland for few years and currently still have a Dutch bank account, I personally prefer handling my saving with the bank in my home country, Taiwan. It is simply because the language. With your mother tongue, you can express yourself better and all the complicated banking stuffs become easier to deal with when you can communicate with bank teller without language barrier.
