11 Nov 2008, 10:07I'm Jan from the Netherlands and I'm thinking about moving to Spain with my family. It's kind of a dream to us, but still we have some problems with finding a nice place to stay and getting a job there...the usual problems, I assume. Hope we can get everything managed, we're really looking forward to life in Spain!
Regards

17 Nov 2008, 15:13Hi, we are currently living in the Netherlands and our dream is to move to Gran canaria with our 5 cats and my partner.
The most difficult for us would be to find a job and a descent accommodation with a garden for the cats.
Any ideas or advices for us? We are going back there in January, 2 weeks to see if we can do it, we created our own website to help people like us to love living abroad. www.andrics,com -

he, Jan!

I live in California. We have more Spanish speakers in California
than in many Spanish speaking countries. The U.S. right now is
the 4th or 5th largest Spanish speaking country in the world after
Mexico, Spain and or Argentina/Colombia. With 21 Spanish speaking
countries that's saying something. By 2050 we will have more Spanish
speakers than Spain. That's muy ironico!!I taught high school Spanish and now I teach Italian to adults.
If you speaker Italian then Spanish is easy and visa versa. If you need help with Spanish or Italian let me known. I can help
you for gratis. A proposito, gratis means free in both Spanish and Italian and A proposito means by the way in both llanguages.[Email hidden]

15 Jan 2009, 17:32I will be moving to Spain in the next month or so as my husband has found a job in Barcelona. I am very excited for this opportunity to live in Europe again. I am American but have lived in London, UK, and most recently Cyprus. I love Europe!
I am desperately trying to find work in Barcelona. I have a lot of communications/pr/event planning/marketing experience, however, I am only just beginning to learn spanish. If anyone knows of any good jobs or job searching sites for english speakers please do let me know.
I look forward to using this sit alot--it's great!
All the best!
