Food and family! I come from the UK where al fresco dining is fairly rare..I love eating outside with friends. I also love the emphasis on family, even in a big city like Madrid there are children's parks everywhere with children playing outside. On Sundays if you go out for lunch you see generations of the same family eating together. I love that lifestyle ethic.

It looks like you have the same problems in Alacante as we do down here in Malaga, bad drivers & rude people, I did laugh when I saw what you had written. I could go on about how things are down here but I am sure you already know. Good luck on the road & hold your breath in the supermarket ha ha
