Moving to Spain very soon

Spain rates of unemploiment is over 20%, in Andalusia is higher, 30%. Foreigners find more difficult to find a job, let alone if they don't speak Spanish. Priego de Cordova, and all the province of Cordova, are living mainly of agriculture, construction, and local commerce. Agriculture used to bring a lot of immigrants, mostly because the spaniards didn't want to work the land, it's hard. But now, job vacancies are so bad, that we start to work there.
On the coast, things are different. Much more foreigners who look for other foreigners when workers are needed. Turism is the main income. Malaga is the province where jobs are easier to find.
Anyway, rather than Andalusia, I'd think of big cities, like Madrid, Barcelona, or on the east coast (Alicante, Valencia, Ibiza...)
On the other hand perhaps you should know that most of us are leaving the country cause there is no work. I fact, 85% of the immigrants in the UK, right now, are Spaniards.
Priego is a very big village. Don't expect a city at all. With 30 churches, its population is one fo the less openminded you'll find.They don't use to travel much, and foreigners don't go there (but you). Our Spanish is difficult to understand, not ending words, joining some of them, inventing others... I have towo friends from there. One is looking forward to leaving it, the other had no choice but leave, after her own mother tried twice to "cure" her lesbianism. You are not wellcome if you are different (no homosexuals, no weirds, no nerds...)
