Moving to Zurich

Hi, I'm moving to Zurich next February and would greatly appreciate advice in respect to where to live in the city...I'm very down to earth so looking for friendly / easy going districts...

    I am also moving to Zurich in february (from Holland) and will live in Schmiede-wiedikon. I really like this area and it is pretty close to the city center.
    So i would recommend kreis 3 or 4!!!
