Temporär birö / Job Recruitment

Posted in Switzerland forum 06 Jan 2012, 20:29

Hello. My name is Kristine and im from Latvia. I would like to know information about Swiss job agencies. I know England system, but here is something very different.
I should start with this - I am in Swiss,I can little bit German and little bit Swiss German. Before i was waittress, but in bars and restaurants i cant find 100 % job, but i need 100% job then i can stay in this country.
Thats why i wanna try to find with Job Recruitment.
I were in 3 good agencies, but im realy impressed by they attension for immigrants. They ask about what kind of work i wanna, then when i answer and i give my CV (Lebenslauf) and wanna tell little bit more about type of work I did before they just courtesy kick me away - they say if we got something for you we will call you back, and they give the visit card and when i ask till which day approximately they call me back ? -They dont know .Maybee somebody have experience in this .I would like to know this way what i can found to get job from agency. In England it works good you call every day and ask for job and then you go there you write youre name and telefon in extra book and they see you have intrest and then its few day question and you have job!

Hi Kristine, where in Switzerland are you? My experience in Zurich is that you go to the bars and restaurants and ask for work directly. I think for a bartender or in a restaurant there are jobs for English speaking people. also go in the English forum job section. http://www.englishforum.ch/jobs/ there are lots of jobs advertised there. If you are in Zurich perhaps we could meet. send me a message and good luck. Luis
