There are all different ways to get a Dubai Residence Visa. Also other types like Dubai Work Visa,Business Visa, Investor Visa & UAE Family Visa are available.
First thing to get a visa you need a local sponsor or authority to sponsor you. Then they will apply for your labor approval and then go for Immigration approval. Once everything is fine you get a pink visa paper which all have all the details about your visa & your profession.Visa copy is mailed to the applicant and you can fly in with the printout. Once in any of the airports in UAE go to the Visa collection center and collect original Visa and enter the country on Residence Visa.
