life is great in england...the economy is shocking anywhere except china.....Dont go to london as that is not england....if you want to see the real country go to the home counties like bath, bristol, cheltenham or other cool cities like brighton, bornemouth, liverpool and manchester.....Like any country you get parts of any city that you should stay clear of but just ask....i have worked all over england and can tell you most things about any of these cities.
    hope this helps
    anything else just ask
    happy travels

    im glad for your answer,
    it really helps
I thought about going to a quiet city that have at least a good comunication in transport like bus or train,
I prefer it than a big city anyway
bristol, York or any city of the nord of England seems good,
I don`t know why the people think that is better north than south of England, could be the enviroment of the city, or maybe because there are holiday visits and a lot of people of other countries,
i think choosing the right city dipends on the thinks i said like good comunication,
other people aswell have recomended me not to go at the capital
    then its not a coincident
Im so happy to know how are citys like Bristol, York or other cities that you said like Cheltenham
thanks so much and scuse my basic english, I hope improving it :)

I want to ask you what is your opinion about the city of York, an the caracteristics of Cheltenham
it is true that the nort of England is better than the citys of the south coast¿? I mentioned previously what it is said about this topic
ah, and is important to know if they are economic, how is the weather...you know
I hpe you understand me, thank you :)

not going to lie to you sarah....weather here can be nasty cold and miserable.....summers are great but dont last long enough....you will notice that it is a good 5 - 7 celcius cooler here that what you are used to in spain.....it rains a lot here ! As for north south devide....in my experience people can be a lot less reserved in the north so making new friends can be a lot easier where as they tend to be a bit more closed in the south....york is great city with lots of history and dates back to around 50 ad....but the weather will be colder the futher north you go...cheltenham will be warmer and is in what we call the M4 corridor.....all around this area the people are very affluent and london, bristol, bath and cardiff are close so finding work will be a LOT easier in this area.
    hope this helps :)
    good luck and ask away

you are very kind for helping,
really? my sister and other people said me the same about the people in the north, I prefer to think is not only question of geography, so i don't have preconceived ideas
long time ago she worked in the Mull island, and was decisive in her live
is very interesting how it ended (i would tell you, but no here hah)
so these experiences could be a motivation, althought i know for each person couId be diferent, and above all depends of oneself no? I'm lucky for your answers, it help me a lot,
    we'll see
    take care bye bye
    Sarah
