UK Spouse Visa Advice

Posted in United Kingdom forum 09 Jan 2012, 18:32

Hi, I am applying for my husband's spouse visa this month and am worried it will be rejected because of his previous immigration history. He overstayed his student visa by 1 year and was working illegally when removed from the country. I paid for his flight ticket back and went with him and we got married. Now i want to bring him back to the UK to be with me but i'm scared it will be refused but I don't know what else to do.

He is from Bangladesh and i tried living there but it was really hard so i came back because i couldn't cope with the hot weather, food and culture change.

Is there any advice anyone could give me or has anyone else had an experience with a similar situation. Any information would be really helpful. Thanks

If he went back voluntarily without being deported and now he wants to enter legally as a spouse, I do not think it would be an issue as long as he fulfils all the requirement and paperwork for spouse visa.

Your husband was removed but not DEPORTED as someone else stated. Please refrain from giving advice if you do not know anything about immigration rules. If you can support your husband without recourse to public fund ie you have a job, a roof over your head then yes.
