    Spanish Men

I have just bought an apartment in Mallorca in a small village I can not believe what these women are saying about Spanish men. I am British/ Italian and the only way a Brit male can talk to a woman is to get drunk they have no confidence and have bad manners. The Spanish men I have met are charming sexy good looking ooze confidence and are sooooooooooo buff as we say in London, I have never had so much attention. I love the way that they look at you and appreciate you as a women and they are so polite I dont mind who whistles at me or hisses at me I find it very funny and flattering. I am a good looking woman and am confident with my sexuality so if the guys in Spain find me attractive and want to show their appreciation let them. You women are so uptight and are probably in bed to .......chill out and enjoy being women, life is to short.

    From Pauline

Hi Gonzalo how do I join in other discussions about Spanish men I meant every word I love the way they stare at me and are so direct whats wrong with that at least they appreciate a woman. They get a bit puzzled as I look Italian/Spanish but speak English they are quite fasinated by me love it love it love it.
Sometimes I do get taken aback though by the way they are I was sunbathing by my pool in Mallorca when after asking this Galician soldier if he spoke English he jumped out of the pool dripping wet kissed me on both cheeks and introduced himself god that was so sexy what a smooth operator. It took my breath away and reduced me to a teenager again unable to speak I managed to remain cool though but I was so embarressed . He did ask me the time 1st and when he found out that I was not Spanish he apologised and hoped that I wasent being bothered by them, I thought god you can bother me all you like, well I could`nt tell him that could I, see what I mean about good manners charm personified.

    Hi Gonzalo

I am back in Mallorca next week carnt wait, going for a week to my little cool village its a break from crazy London. I think I freak the people out a bit as when they go past my flat they here Dizzie Rascal and Kayne West, reggae blaring out they must think what is that music???????? that crazy English woman is back in town.
Well I havent been out with a Spanish guy yet but dosent eveyone have a temper? I do especially when rude London people bump into you on the underground and make out its your fault and get angry with you. Dont get me wrong I love London and all its diversity and I would not want to live anywhere else in the UK and I love our radio stations and music so its not all bad. However can I just say one thing to all men please personal hygiene it does not cost much to shower and use deodorant thats my pet hate we women dont like smelly men.
    Take care
    Pauline

    life in Spain

    Hi Pauline,
to which village to you go? Do you have a holiday house there or something?
I've never been to London nor the UK (although I'd really like to some day) so I can't tell if the people living there are rude (or more rude than in Spain for example).
And thanks for the tip with the hygiene xD No, seriously, never before I heard a woman complaining about smelly men...really weird.

    Regards
    Gonzalo

...copied from a post in another forum! I so agree with you!

    ....

I would like to voice my opinion!

I have been to Spain three times and love it. The last two times I have met lovely Spanish men, and I have found them to be incredibly passionate, and made me feel so sexy. I think that's where Spanish men have it down - they know how to make a girl feel sexy and good about herself.

When I was in Spain with my friends (all English!) the amount of Spanish guys who would beep and yell at us was alarming at first - my friends hated it, but at times I secretly loved it, and actually thought it was quite funny! And when I thought about it, I do think it's just a culture shock to Brits. I just think that Spaniards look at it as giving a compliment to a pretty lady, whereas English men do not tend to give compliments unless they are drunk, or actually know the woman. This is why although Spanish men would do it in such a obvious way, I didn't mind it as much as having some drunk English guy drooling over me in a nightclub :-/

I have never come across a Spanish man's temper; but I can only imagine. I mean I know the Spanish are passionate, and there is this 'macho' attitude, but I think if I ever got a Spanish boyfriend we might clash in this area, as I can be quite passionate and feisty too, and can't put up with a Spanish man trying to tell me what to do all the time!

All in all, I love Spanish men
