  Wanting to Move to the Azores, from the USA....advice?

  Hello, I grew up in Santa Cruz das Flores but returned to America as a child. I want to move back with my two children and husband. However I can only understand a tiny bit of Portuguese anymore, and my husband knows none.

  We already have a place to stay, with my grandmother. I plan on taking care of her and raising my young children there.

  The only problem I see, is....money! I dont know how we could make money? How or where to find a job for my husband, a decent job. My husband works as a cook, but he dislikes sea food. I cant imagine him cooking as a profession in Portugal. Any ideas? Perhaps speaking fluent English is a skill?
