  Having someone's passport

  I have a query: There was this guy who took money from me as a loan and gave me his passport as a guarntee that he will return it back in 2 months time. Its been almost 6 months now that i didnt hear anything. I have been trying to call him or visit his house, but hez not taking my calls.
  I am not worried about my money now but i want him to return his passport as keeping passport is against laws. Can anyone suggest what should i do with the passport now? i want to return him back even if he cannot pay me back but hez on escape.

  Please help me out. Really appreciate any suggestion.

  Hi

  Hi Aasia,

  its very simple, just keep his passport in envelop and give to anyone in his house.
  OR
  you can take it to police and tell them that u found that passport
  OR
  you go to his embassy and give to to him as u found it somewhere

  really appreciate your help.

  But nobody is in his house ....itz all vacant, i tired contacting his cousins, but even they r not taking my calls.

  If i will gv it to police, they will ask me everything and i dnt wana get involved in police case and same is the case wid Embassy.

  but will try to talk to anyone in Police that why shud i do.... Thanx Aziz, u too take care.....

  Hope you doing well today, first did u check validity of passport maybe its expired already for that he is not care about it and if not how he can travel withour passport or maybe he got new passport.

  all you have to do is just wait for he call and dont bother yourself.
