  To rent an appartment in Geneva having the work permit G

  Im living in in France and working in Geneva so i have the work permit G, I want to move to Geneva, but I have been told that for that I need the work permit B, is that true? in the case it is like that is there anything I can do?

  From what I know, that's true, when you apply for an apartment they ask you for the residence permit, and your's is only for commuting from France, so you need to apply for a B permit. Although it will be a lot easier if your company does all the work, you can try asking.
