Daunting

I am Gemma, from UK.
I am going over to Seville in a couple of weeks for an unknown amount of time! I am daunted by the language and cultural differences, as well as meeting my boyfriend's family who speak very little or no english! I am struggling to learn Spanish from home and am hoping it will be easier when I am there.
I would appreciate tips on getting to grips with the language and culture as soon as possible!

We just got back from Spain yesterday and loved it! We've been thinking about moving to Europe for a while (a year or perhaps two), and we'd love to move to Spain. I'm a business analyst and project manager, my husband is an IT professional. I'm starting to join a few forums to learn the ins and outs, etc for an American to move to Spain.
