Got my student visa rejected, want to re-apply but need some tips first.

Hello. I applied on the 2nd of October for a German Student Visa in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but I got rejected. I'm an Egyptian national, and I was intending to attend a language school for 34 weeks to have German language courses up to level B2, and then go on to my studienkolleg year and then my university. I got the letters of admission from the language school and the conditional admission from a university, proof of financial support, residence proof, etc. All my documents were ready and clear. I did not however have any German language skills, since I decided to learn German in Germany to have enhanced speech skills, etc.

On the interview day, the officer kept stressing about why I did not study German before I apply. I had legit reasons of being busy traveling between two countries more than two times and I really didn't have time to study German beforehand, but on the interview day I was so stressed and was not able to give them a clear reason. I kept giving them some incomprehensible answers about that issue.

Fast forward until two days ago, the embassy called me to receive my passport. Rejected. When I translated the reason of rejection, turns out they rejected because I didn't have German language knowledge, and this shows that "I'm not serious and they need to see how serious I am about this matter."

Now, I intend to take German classes until I reach level B2, and then re-apply. I would like to ask if I re-apply after acquiring a language certificate, would I run into any problems again? I want to make sure that this time I'll get 100% accepted, and if I miss this chance it may as well be a bye-bye to my college education completely. Could the rejection have been for security/political reason, especially since the rapidly arising tensions in the Middle East? What should I do next time to completely avoid rejection? Sorry for the long post but I really need some help and advice about the matter, and would very much appreciate a detailed answer of whether or not taking German language courses and then re-applying would make them accept my visa.

Thank you and have my best regards.

Do not lose out on hope as you can defiantly reapply for a visa. In fact you will be having stronger chances of getting a visa after learning German as you should have omitted the reason of refusal.
And yes, it is mandatory to learn German (atleast till B2 level and even C1 for some Studienkolleg) for successfully clearing the Aufnahmeprüfung. Learning the language will help you to clear your papers with much more ease and as Germany will be a new country to you, you will be able to blend well with its culture as you will be able to interact with the general people as well as with your fellow study mates and faculty with much more openness.
