Funhouse Comedy brings a night of comedians & campfires and an intimate evening of laughs, food, and beer to The Mash Tun Café, Barkby.

Topping the bill is the fascinating magician and comedian Alan Hudson, who has appeared on ITV’s Penn and Teller and more recently on ITV's Britain's Next Great Magician, where his balloon-popping trick went down a storm. Using his blend of stand up and stunning magic, he’ll firstly charm you and then with his natural wit, draw you in to his super unnatural world.

Opening the night will be Alfie Moore who has appeared on ITV’s ‘Show Me The Funny’ and ‘The Wright Stuff’. Following the success of the first series on BBC Radio 4 of ‘It’s a Fair Cop’ in 2014 and subsequent exceptional feedback, from listeners and media reviews, three further series have aired, the fourth of which was aired last year. A police sergeant, he brings a wealth of insights and comedy moments from his eighteen years on the beat, where a keen sense of humour has been the key to his success and survival! His engaging style enables him to get serious points across whilst still making the audience laugh until they ache.

Completing the line-up is the energetic and intelligent Matt Stellingwerf, with his unique and vast mix of observations and interesting anecdotes.

Compere for the night will be the amiable and animated Spiky Mike.

The Mash Tun cafe is a quirky double decker bus cafe located at the picturesque Church View Nursery in Barkby, Leicestershire.
The event is planned to take place outdoors, but if weather demands, it will be moved inside a marquee.
