For me as an European was interesting to find out that Ethiopia uses its own calendar and time! If I am not mistaken, now it should be year 2003 in Ethiopia, right? Also the time is different (midnight is 6 o'clock). It's interesting to hear such differences between the cultures :-) I was wondering, is there any tendency to switch to the Gregorian calendar and 24 hours time?

Yes Ulrik, you are right now it is year 2003 in Ethiopia and also the time is different. According to Ethiopian time every new day starts at 6 am western time.
