I'm moving to Venezuela in a couple of months and would like to connect with other U.S. expats living in the Barquisimeto area who are interested in socializing, developing business opportunities or providing mutual support.

Hi Chris,
I'm thinking of moving to Caracas, and I was wondering if you ever caught up with any American expats in Venezuela. How did you find other expats, if at all? Any tips for an experienced (although I can't Spanish...yet) expat finding friends in Latin America?

I would like to know more about u. Althought im from here im interested to get meet with friends to share culture skills and socializing in a easy way.
No gossip, troubles or tht kind of stuff just share good moments and interchange ideas and develop it.
People from here are no really open all time to make friends and socializing and the thing is moe difficult with foreign people.
